Bring able to be involved in managing events or create things like advertising for such events to spread the knowledge of it. I could also teach other people about specific topics to help educate more people on things that are important.
6. Describe a time you helped someone or a cause.
I was a part of Boy Scouts for some years, and during my time there I had gotten to help a lot of people. The ways that I have helped people can vary a lot. It could be as small as doing simple cooperation with my troop. Or as big as helping to deliver firewood to many people who support us. I think it was a very good way to help a lot of people and support a lot of causes.
7. Describe a time that somebody helped you.
Throughout many years of school I have had many people that have helped me. This was most important when I first started taking advanced classes. Despite the fact that I was qualified to take them, I did not know how to do well in them because they were so different compared to all of my others classes. Many people in my classes helped me get on track and understand everything. Now I hope I can help other people in the same way that they did.
8. What issues do you have concern or feel the most passionate about?
The CAS program is something that I am really exited for, but I do not know exactly what it is about. I only know bits and pieces and not the main goal and learning point of the CAS program. I hope that it is something that I will be able to participate in and come out with some new knowledge and advice.
9. What would you like to learn more about?
How we could truly make an impact with the tools we have in CAS. I know we are planning to make an event that will be able to make an impact to people. I want to know how this will work and what we will be able to do to make the project not only for people participating, but for the people making it as well.
10. What have you always wanted to try, but haven't?
I have always wanted to try tennis and try to practice it enough to be decent at it. I have tried many sports before but was unable to find a sport that I would enjoy playing very often. Tennis however seems like a sport that mixes practice leading to better playing, but also doesn't make it so not being tall or born a certain way will impact me being able to play much.
